Pitbull releasehis new single "Bad Man"

Armando Christian Pérez, known worldwide as Pitbull. His relentless work ethic transformed him into a Grammy-winning international superstar, visionary entrepreneur, fashion maven, and successful actor. His social media presence speaks to nearly 90 million people daily, matching some television networks. while preparing to release his tenth full-length album, 2016’s Climate Change.

Pitbull teamed up with Robin Thicke, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry to create his new hit “Bad Man”.

Challenge:

Include: Create the Artwork for Pitbull new Power single “Bad Man” featuring Robin Thicke, Joe Perry and Travis Barker, create the Admat for the Bad Man tour with Prince Royce and the Landing Page for Tour dates and Tickets sales.

Outcome:

Monkey Pig Inc.’s keen understanding of the Pitbull brand helped achieve consistency in its messaging throughout all online/offline consumer-facing communications during this pivotal time of his career, further cementing his cosmopolitan, Mr. Worldwide image. This focus on brand strategy led to a growth in record single and tour tickets sales.

Monkey Pig Inc. in conversation with Yvette Medina of team Pitbull, created the strategy for this new challenge that included not only the elaboration of the artwork for the new single, but also the marketing strategy for the tour that was coming under the name “Bad Man Tour”.

In the process, they prioritized the artist’s need and objective, with the creation of a landing page where the tour tickets were on sale, with the primary objective of collecting/analyzing data for future marketing campaigns.

Understanding the image of Pitbull, what the brand visually represents, and studying well the image and the trajectory of the artists involved such as: Robin Thicke, Joe Perry & Travis Barker, helped define the creation of the new art.

This set the tone for the creation of all the material included in this project.

Monkey Ping Inc. along with Pitbull’s and Live Nation’s teams, developed the creation of various designs for the Admat for “The Bad Man Tour”, a massive tour of the entire United States territory, featured Pitbull as the main artist and Prince Royce as the tour’s special guest.

One functional characteristic of this Admat, is that it had to be designed with enough hierarchical space to include an image of a rotating third artist,that would feature as a guest of the night depending on the city the show was playing. This created a new experience every time a new Admat would be rolled out according to the date and venue of the show. Recording artist Farruko featured as a tour guest on several occasions.

TourLanding Page Design

Monkey Pig designed and programmed the landing page for “The Bad Man Tour”. The objective was to provide users with access to individual ticket sale for each tour date and city in which the show was to be presented, provide access to special fan/insider information, and access to tour related merchandise.

A one stop shop/hub where the user was immersed in the tour experience, achieving his main objective of user approved data collection and analytics.
